Beijing E-Town has added another foreign-invested R&D center.

The second batch of foreign-invested R&D centers in Beijing in 2022 was recently announced, and Synaptic Medical Technology (Beijing) Co is on the list. The company is noted for accelerating scientific and technological innovation and the transformation of achievements through international cooperation.

Not long ago, Synaptic Medical was certified as an offshore innovation center in Beijing E-Town. 

"This will motivate our team to join hands with the US R&D center to accelerate the transformation of ongoing research projects, so that more innovative products will go from here to the international market," said Huang Ying, vice president of Synaptic Medical. 

Synaptic Medical will rely on the coordinated development of China and the United States innovative R & D centers, quickly capture the international cutting-edge technology trends, understand clinical needs, and realize the industrialization of advanced innovative technology achievements in China. It aims to gradually grow into a complete solution for electrophysiological surgery.

As a service provider, its research projects such as cryoablation system and three-dimensional mapping system will enter the market from 2024 to 2025.

Synaptic Medical has also become an innovation attraction for Beijing E-Town to encourage enterprises to build R&D centers. 

Up to now, seven companies in the Economic Development Zone have been certified as the Beijing foreign-funded R&D center, including international companies such as AstraZeneca and Varian Medical. The list also includes small and medium-sized enterprises with strong push for innovation such as Ponyai (Yixing) and Synaptic Medical.
