The launch of the Integrated Circuit Industry-Education Alliance and the Integrated Circuit College (Artificial Intelligence College) was held at the Beijing Polytechnic on June 8.

The alliance is led by the Beijing E-Town Administrative Committee, together with scientific and educational institutions such as the Beijing Polytechnic, Beijing University of Technology, North China University of Technology, Beijing Microelectronics Technology Institute, as well as 22 units including SMIC (Beijing) Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Co, NAURA Technology Group Co, and Beijing Yandong Microelectronics Co.

After the representatives of the alliance member units signed the agreement, the   official launch of the alliance was announced.

Subsequently, they unveiled the plaque for the Integrated Circuit College (Artificial Intelligence College). After the meeting, the participants visited the school's integrated circuit pilot base together.

Yuan Lihong, Level I Bureau Rank official of the Working Committee of Beijing E-Town, stated that Beijing E-Town looks forward to joining forces with enterprises and universities to explore a path suitable for the development of China's integrated circuit industry.
