Hannover Messe 2024 opened in Germany on April 22, with Beijing E-Town showcasing its "Smart Manufacturing Team" at the expo.

The expo is known as the "barometer of world industrial development." This year's theme is "Energizing a Sustainable Industry." 

Nine companies, including Lima Optoelectronics Technology (Beijing) Co, Beijing Soft Robot Technology Co (SRT), Beijing Botsing Technology Co, and Beijing Huaxiang Electric Furnace Technology Co, represented Beijing E-Town at the expo, showcasing global first-of-their-kind new technologies and products.

Industrial CT (Computed Tomography) is an indispensable non-destructive inspection tool for quality control in industrial applications. 

At this expo, Lima Optoelectronics showcased several products with global debut status, including the horizontal online RMLCT7500 designed for Over-Hang in laminated battery cells.

In the booth of Beijing Botsing Technology Co, R&D engineer Guo Guanghui introduced their new invention: a self-developed rail-free all-position crawling welding robot. "This robot can start and stop welding operations with a single button and can perform automated tasks," he said.

Nearby, the booth of Beijing Soft Robot Technology Co attracted a lot of attention. On display was a robotic arm with flexible "blue fingers" capable of handling apples of various sizes and placing them effortlessly into a basket.

"Our self-developed series of flexible grippers and flexible gripping solutions can handle about 96 percent of non-standard, delicate items in industrial production," said Bao Lei, CTO of SRT.

Beijing Bodian Optical Technology Co brought a range of self-developed intelligent inspection equipment, including their newly upgraded PCT200Q handheld current transformer comprehensive tester.

Moreover, at the smart manufacturing components and solutions exhibition, booths for companies like Weina'er (Beijing) Electric System Limited Company, Beijing Tebeifu Electronic Technology Co, Beijing Knd Cnc Technique Co, and Biduk Elec. Co, showcased the strong capabilities of "E-Town Smart Manufacturing."
