Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) has been facilitating its four leading industries in the new generation information technology, high-end and new energy vehicles, biotechnology and health, and robotics and intelligent manufacturing this year to present the "E-Town business card" to the world.

Beijing is now focusing on building a globally influential modern pharmaceutical and health industry cluster. Seizing this opportunity, Beijing E-Town is planning to construct an international pharmaceutical innovation park -- Bio-Park -- in which it will concentrate on cutting-edge health fields, attracting strategic scientists, top international technology leaders and innovative teams from around the world to promote the innovative development of pharmaceutical and medical device products.

In the field of new generation information technology, Beijing E-Town gathered over 2,500 companies, with a total output value close to 130 billion yuan ($18.29 billion) last year, accounting for over a third of the city's total. Based on this achievement, Beijing E-Town continues to strive for the construction of an "AI city", promoting the hub for the new generation of information technology industries.
